Yquem has today been released at a rather heady £5600 per case. With the amazing 2001 vintage still available at £4400 per case this is a Sauternes for those who buy with the heart rather than the head. Ygrec is also available at £1500 per case.

 

We now have a small stock available (at an average of 1st and 2nd tranche prices) of Cos d'Estournel available at £2500. Once these have sold the 2nd tranche price will be £2700.

 

Leoville Lascases and Vieux Chateau Certan are now released but will be available to pre-order customers only (and not enough for all of them). Figeac is available at £1700.

Cos d'Estournel 2009 received 98-100 from the Wine Advocate and 97-100 from the Wine Spectator. This is a wine with 100 points written all over it! The price is within estimate at £2350 per case. An urgent response is advised if you would like to secure an allocation of this incredible wine.

 

Also released at £2350 is the 96-100 rated Angelus.   Saint Emilion neighbours La Mondotte (at £2750) and Valandraud (at £2580) are also out today. We still have small stocks available of Pavie at £2200, Troplong Mondot at £1050 and Canon at £1000
