Krug Champagne

Krug - one of the smallest and greatest producers of Champagne. All Krug's wines are barrel fermented in old oak casks. The style is distinctly robust and 'masculine'. The two main wines are the 'multi-vintage' Krug Grande Cuvee and the venerable Krug Vintage. Minisule quantities of 100% Chardonnay from the tiny (2 hectare) walled vineyard of Clos du Mesnil are also highly sought after.
