Tasting Notes

By contrast, the '99 Musigny added additional weight and complexity since my last review from cask with its classy yet very tight and reserved personality. There is a subtle complexity underlying the rich, powerfully primary flavors that are quite linear though very long. An excellent rather than genuinely great Musigny but a pleasure to drink all the same.
