the botrytis and apricot-scented 2000 pinot gris vendanges tardives has an elegant, medium-bodied character crammed with white peaches. this focused, extremely well-balanced, and silky-textured wine is powerful, yet delicate. anticipated maturity: 2006-2015
Pale medium-gold colour. fruit-driven aromas of marmalade and honey. dense, fat and sweet, with intense apricot and spice flavours perked up by some unabsorbed co2 finishes clean and long, with lovely lingering sweetness of fruit.
