Hermitage Le Gréal, Domaine Marc Sorrel 2000

Tasting Notes

The creme de la creme is represented by Sorrel's Hermitage Le Greal, a stunning old vine cuvee produced from some of the estate's finest hillside vineyard parcels. The elegant 2000 Hermitage Le Greal boasts sweet blackberry and cassis aromas and flavors intermingled with hints of minerals, earth, mushrooms, and spice. Well-made and richly fruity, with low acidity and ripe tannin, it is surprisingly precocious and evolved for Le Greal. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.
