Tasting Notes

The amber/gold-colored 2000 Tokay-Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhl Vendanges Tardives has a spicy botrytis-scented nose. Medium-bodied and complex, its flavor profile displays mushroom, truffle, and smoke qualities. While this wine has 55 grams of residual sugar, the dusty characteristic common in highly botrytised wines makes it appear completely dry. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2030.
