Tasting Notes

In 2009, this is more Vosne than Nuits as the very ripe black cherry and cassis nose is exceptionally spicy and this spice character carries over to the extremely rich and full-bodied flavors blessed with copious dry extract that imparts a velvety quality to the lightly structured and persistent finish. This is pretty but like several of these '09s, right at the limit of ripeness for my taste.
