Tasting Notes

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2010 Gimblett Gravels Syrah has aromas of warm blackberries, black cherries and cassis with hints of black pepper, licorice and tar. Medium bodied, the black berry laced palate is just a little lean in the middle with a medium level of chewy tannins and crisp acidity, finishing with medium to long persistence. Drink this one now to 2017+.
