(Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Riesling Auslese #08) AP: 08 13. Made from 100% botrytized fruit, this offers plenty of ripe and honeyed fruits. The nose is particularly open and rich with some expressive exotic botrytized flavors of honey, apricot, passion fruit, pineapple and dried mango. The exotic side is underlined by honeyed notes and nice liqueur-like fruity structure on the palate but the finish returns to more elegance and freshness. This ostentatious Auslese should age beautifully well. 2018-2032
