Volnay Caillerets, Domaine Michel Lafarge 2003

A completely different nose from that of the Ducs as here the aromas run toward the almost completely black side of the spectrum with lovely spice nuances that are followed by rich, full and more structured flavors that remain suave. This saturates the palate with copious dry extract yet maintains near perfect balance. Really lovely juice.
