There is just enough wood present to warrant commenting on as it frames the admirably pure and elegant aromas of cassis, plum, spice and pungent earth scents. The beautifully intense medium weight plus flavors retain a fine sense of delineation on the powerful yet focused finale that delivers superb length on the ever-so-slightly austere finale. I very much like the underlying material and this should amply repay extended cellaring. One to look for.
