Chassagne Montrachet Chaumées, Domaine Niellon 2014

Tasting Notes

(from .54 ha parcel of leased vines that Niellon has exploited since 1988 and he believes that they were planted in 1939). There is a touch of reduction present but not so much as to completely mask the aromas of citrus and floral nuances. The intense, rich and relatively broad-shouldered flavors also possess plenty of palate coating sap that also buffers the moderately firm acid backbone on the persistent, balanced and slightly drier and more complex finale.
