En Primeur News : Tuesday, 30th May 2017

The big news today is the release of Haut Brion at £4980. We are pleased to have been able to confirm allocations of this First Growth to all who pre-ordered it and there may be a few cases remaining for those who didn't, once we have done our final calculations.

We gave La Mission Haut Brion half a point more than Haut Brion this year and it received the maximum 98-100 rating in the Wine Advocate. Likewise, we have managed to source just enough stock to satisfy pre-orders and there may be a few cases left over, so please ask if you would like either of these wines. The price of La Mission is £3960 per dozen - which is around £1000 per case cheaper than the current 2009 and 2010 prices.

The two second wines are also available. Clarence Haut Brion at £1200 and La Chapelle de la Mission at £770.

The white wines from the Clarence Dillon estate are also released. Haut Brion Blanc at £7000, La Mission Haut Brion Blanc at £5600 and La Clarté Haut Brion at £700.

From Saint Emilion we now have Larcis Ducasse at £642 and in Pauillac, the second wine of Pichon Lalande is also out. Reserve de la Comtesse is priced at £355.
