Another Sauternes is out today with Doisy Daene released at £320 and, from the Northern Médoc, we have Potensac at £205.
Both good wines, but the Potensac is only down only 1 euro from last year and customers can purchase a range of physically available vintages back to 2001 at only slightly higher prices than this. It's the same story (but more extreme) with Doisy Daene - and indeed most sweet wines - where classic mature vintages (in this case 2007 and 2009) are available at considerably lower prices.
In Pomerol we have Hosanna at £1080 per dozen. Very limited availability.
