En Primeur News : Thursday, 17th May 2018

This morning sees the release of two very good Pomerols with Clinet out at £690 (significantly lower than the prices of 2015 and 2016) and one of the appellation's most reasonably priced wines - Rouget at £375.

Next up is Domaine de Chevalier whose red wine is £510 per dozen (closer to the current 2014 price than it is to the 2015 or 2016) and the Domaine de Chevalier Blanc is at £820.

We now have Duhart Milon from the owners of Lafite Rothschild. The price is £565 and you'll find it difficult to find any vintage of this wine at a lower price, except possibly the 2013 at around £520. This is a "brand" with a strong following in Asia with very little availability of mature vintages on the market.
