Small additional stocks are now available at opening prices of 4 wines that were previously sold out. Please e-mail sales@farrvintners.com if you missed out on these, as they may not show for sale on the web site.

These are :-

Lynch Bages

Pontet Canet

Angelus

La Mission Haut Brion

The Médoc's final non-First Growth release was that of one of the vintage's greatest wines -  Montrose at £1560. This is a fabulous St Estèphe that certainly has the potential to rival the great wines produced here in 2016, 2010 and 2009. We had large pre-orders for this blockbuster but, unfortunately, the Château reduced the quantity down to what was purchased in 2017 less 40%. We are trying to fulfill all pre-orders, but after these have been done, the wine will almost certainly be sold out. The second label, La Dame de Montrose is available at £372.

Today we had the release of La Mission Haut Brion and it's siblings plus a distant cousin from over the river.

La Mission Haut Brion Rouge . This "honorary First Growth" has a rating of 98-100 from the Wine Advocate and was only offered by the Château to last year's buyers and, even then, less a 25% quantity reduction. It sold out to pre-orders this morning but we have now managed to purchase a few extra cases which might still be available when you read this.

La Mission Haut Brion Blanc is available at £5760 per dozen whilst the second label, La Clarté is a much more modest £720.

La Mission rouge's second label - La Chapelle de la Mission is also £720 whilst Quintus at £1150 is the most expensive vintage ever of a wine that's been too expensive in every other vintage.
