We are delighted to offer the latest iteration of our best selling red - 2015 Fleur de Thénac Rouge. A blend of 46% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cabernet Franc, this wine is made in Bergerac - a stone's throw from the Bordeaux AOC border. It is rich, juicy and supple and is drinking perfectly now.
Fleur de Thénac is our biggest selling wine by volume since we started working with it in the 2009 vintage. The repeat orders we have had across vintages bear testament to just what great value this wine is year in, year out. Our usual volume discounts are available on 75cl bottles and, for the first time ever, we can now offer this brilliant wine in magnum format too.

A deep ruby in the glass, this has a rich and enticing nose of ripe summer fruits, crunchy cherries and a little sweet spice. The palate bursts through with juicy red and black fruits which are ripe but not at all raisined. Supple, soft tannins give a plush, rounded mouthfeel and allow the fruit to shine through. Succulent and fleshy through to a long and lightly spicy finish, this is a beautifully polished Fleur de Thenac, the best in years and a rival for the fantastic 2009 vintage - perhaps less opulent but much more refined. Drink now, or over the next five to seven years.
