Tasting Notes

Robert Parker, Bordeaux Book (4), December 2003

The 1990 Meyney is still drinking very well, exhibiting an impressively vibrant ruby-black hue, followed by attractive aromas of cherries, red berries, pipe tobacco, pencil shavings and hints of soil. Medium to full-bodied, with a rich core of fruit, tangy acids and powdery tannins that still assert themselves on the finish, it's an old-school Saint-Estèphe that still has plenty of life ahead of it. - Drink 2000-2030
