An openly spicy and markedly floral nose of both red and black pinot fruit leads to dense, serious and mineral-inflected big-shouldered flavors that possess stunningly good complexity on the superbly persistent finish. I like the balance and delivery and while there is enough wood to notice on the finale, there is also more than enough material to successfully integrate it over time, which I should note, this will need plenty of bottle age to arrive at its peak.
