Fine mid yellow. The bouquet is beguiling, an attractive but not exaggerated ripeness, the steely backbone one hopes for well covered in fruit, and a fine long finish. Excellent aftertaste. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted: October 2023.
Bright lemon in colour, this tightly wound example will need a couple of years in bottle. White pepper, fresh pear and a hint of cream on the nose. The palate is engagin with a lightly phenolic grip, layers of stone fruits and a toasted hazelnut character. Structured and stony, given this time in the bottle to reveal its full potential.
