Tasting Notes

An extremely ripe, almost port-like nose without the alcohol explodes from the glass to reveal spicy, dense, powerful and completely classy black fruit flavors that just ooze extract as the finish is thick, concentrated and opulent. This is deep and wonderfully complex and while this too is very firmly structured, the tannins are finer than those of the Clos de Vougeot. To be sure, this is particular in style as it's anything but classic yet it's quite promising all the same.
