Tasting Notes

The 1988 is a typical effort from De Pez, with a reserved and polite bouquet of moderately ripe blackcurrants, minerals, and wood. The wine is medium-bodied, slightly astringent, austere, and restrained. It lacks flesh and appears compact. Anticipated maturity: Now-2000.
