Tasting Notes

This is the second wine of the cult bodega Pingus, made by Peter Sisseck from purchased grapes; in 2000, about 3,500 cases were made. Powerful yet graceful, this modern red shows lush cassis, mineral and smoky flavours on a firm yet unobtrusive frame. It's harmonious and complex, with a long mineral and spicy finish. Drink now through 2009.
