Tasting Notes

A classically austere yet remarkably elegant nose of tobacco, smoke and roasted coffee plus dark pinot fruit notes leads to linear, indeed even angular, focused, precise, stunningly intense, muscular flavors underpinned by pronounced structure and a powerful finish. One of the best examples of Clos de Vougeot from 2001.
