This is really quite pretty with its array of ripe and cool red berry fruit aromas that also display various gradations of earth and humus. There is a lovely purity to the detailed, intense and mineral-infused flavors that possess a clean and energetic finish that is dry in the best sense.
Polished and spicy from the oak, sporting vanilla-tinged cherry and raspberry fruit. This is solidly structured, but remains fleshy and long on the spicy aftertaste. Best from 2016 through 2024. 274 cases made.
Rather broad on the nose and chewy finish. Lots to get your teeth into but no finesse. Honest stuff.
