Lynch-Moussas is a long-forgotten, underperforming Pauillac that seems to be making a few noises about improving its image among consumers. This is a pleasant, easygoing, seductive style of wine that does not really have much stuffing, but what is there is nice. Deep ruby/purple, medium-bodied, with sweet, soft, plummy black currant fruit and a hint of flowers, cedar, and spice box, this attractive wine should age nicely for 10-12 years and be accessible in its youth.
Beautiful aromas of blackberry, currant and light licorice follow through to a full-bodied palate, with big and velvety tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Rich and tight wine with wonderful texture. Very well done for this estate. Best after 2010. 20,000 cases made.

Full bodied palate, with silky tannins and a pleasing finish. This place is getting it right this year.
