Gorgeous aromas of dried pineapple and apricot follow through to a full-bodied palate, with sweet fruit and a long, long finish. Best ever from here?
Dominant impression is of green fruit acidity but quite good depth of sweetness and considerable astringency. Chewy and sappy and zappy. Drink 2015-28
Medium yellow. Fruit-driven aromas of peach, orange and candied pineapple. Juicy, spicy and firm-edged, with the pineapple flavor buttressed by lively acidity. The lingering sweetness shows good grip and focus. A good early showing for this wine.
This cru now seems to have rediscovered its consistency and undoubted class. There is a lovely, scented freshness and the flavour shows richness, sweetness and length on the finish. A very stylish wine. 4 stars
