Robert Parker, Wine Advocate (171), June 2007

Lemon rind and mineral on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, with a strong acidity and thick and rich palate. So structured it's almost tannic. Outstanding.

James Suckling, Wine Spectator, April 2005

Greenish gold. Very powerful Sauvignon lemon notes with some minerality. Off dry with a strong Sauvignon freshness even though Semillon is the dominant grape (as at Louviere). Good weight and very dry finish. Rapier-like in its impact. Mid fruit. Quite flashy and dramatic. (83% Sem, 17% SB)

Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, August 2005

A little more Sémillon in this than usual, at 83%. It's captivating. The elegant, minerally nose opens to reveal lemon and a hint of passion fruit, and the flavours are poised and fine, with hints of sweet vanilla oak, honey and white peaches. There's an elegant, minerally, smoky character, fresh acidity, a bervy, thoroughbred structuer, elegant finesse, and lovely balance and length. 2008-2018
