Tasting Notes

(with thanks to Henri Tang). This has evolved beautifully to reveal a complex and well-layered mix of secondary fruit elements that evidence notes of spice, dried flowers, earth, game and underbrush nuances. There is good power and fine density to the detailed and lightly mineral-infused medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a still moderately structured finish that displays fine balance and persistence. This could certainly be enjoyed now if allowed 20 minutes or so of aeration though for my taste, I would allow another 3 to 5 years of cellar time first. That said, I quite liked this.
