This does not quite have the vivacity on the nose as the lovely La Chenade. More earth than stones with some brambly fruits developing. The palate is better those, good fruit concentration, compact, more robust tannin although I prefer the elegance on the finish. Tasted April 2008.
Denis Durantou bought this property which you can actually see from Ch Eglise Clinet it's so near. This bottling is from the older vines. Fresh and quite urgent and with some structure. Chewy although there is enough fruit to drink it now with food. Drink 2012-2017
Supple, aromatic with good intensity. Smooth tannic line, freshness and balance. An enjoyable wine. Drink 2010-2016
Born on the wrong side of the stream, but close enough to L'Eglise Clinet for some of the pedigree to rub off. I heard myself say 'mmmmm!" It has really appealing juicy fruit in abundance. You shouldn't miss this, buy a case and they won't last long!
