Tasting Notes

Robert Parker, Wine Advocate (167), October 2006

Torbreck is on the cutting edge of modern winemaking in Barossa, aiming for purity of fruit and balance over sheer power. The clear fruit character of the 2004 vintage plays right into that style, and the high-elevation Eden Valley (a part of the Barossa) lifts this Shiraz home. The Struie gets its name from a hill that overlooks the Glenmorangie distillery in Scotland. 3,000 cases made.
