Tasting Notes

A perfumed if distinctly ripe and secondary nose features plenty of earth and sauvage characters. There is excellent mid-palate concentration to the rich and mineral-driven middle weight flavors that possess excellent depth and length and particularly so for a villages level wine. This is drinking perfectly now and should continue to do so for at least another decade and perhaps longer.

A gorilla of a wine; needs to be caged and not let out for 10 years. We might consider killing for a bottle of this. Has full tannins and full fruit, yet it's wonderfully balanced. Try in 1998. 400 cases made.
