A rasping cranberry and green pepper nose with liquorice developing in the glass. The palate is full-bodied, a little green but not austere with an attractive peppery, mushroom-tinged finish. Classic in style but very pleasant and crisp. Very fine.
Pretty dark crimson. Warm, ripe and sweet but without much definition. Just a bit simple and earth-bound.
