Tasting Notes

This is remarkably forward and open for a young Demoiselles, especially from a fine vintage like '02. This is a good deal finer than the Bâtard yet not necessarily bigger or more powerful with really lovely aromatic purity and stunning complexity. The medium full flavors are precise and delineated, carrying plenty of the hallmark minerality and arresting minerality. I very much like this but as great as it is, it has been several vintages since it has been at the same level as the Montrachet.
