The backbone of this cuvee is from the lieu-dit Les Bressards on the famed Hermitage hill, on which Delas owns some 27.5 acres. In the great 1999 vintage, this terroir produced a refined and classy red. Elegant, it fans out on the palate, with a wonderful mineral flavour. Add cassis, roasted chestnut, ripe fig, seductive texture and a long, charming, citrusy finish. Tempting now, but built for the cellar. Best from 2005 through 2020
