Dom Perignon Rosé 1978

Tasting Notes

Much livelier and crisper than the 1990 but with a more complex bouquet too. Focussed, tight still – incredible! – presumably a reflection of the exceptionally low yield. Extremely Pinot Noir – this wine has such innate energy that it revived palates flagging halfway through a particularly long feast (poor us), not least because it seemed such a perfect match with the salmon and liquorice.
