Tasting Notes

The 1995 Blanc de Blancs Clos du Mesnil is a beautiful, delicate, medium-bodied Champagne offering hints of flint, chalk, white peaches, honeyed grapefruit, and lemon zest. This beautiful Chardonnay tastes of liquid minerals and reeks of terroir.

A barrel-fermented style, this shows a slight oxidative character, along with whole-grain toast, ginger, exotic citrus and honey notes. Its big and dry, with a firm structure and tactile sensation on the finish. Terrific harmony and legnth. A Champagne for food. Drink now through 2015.

Deep and complex, here's a vinous style, laced with graphite, honey, citrus and woody aromas and flavors, with more citrus and floral notes emerging on the palate. Its firm structure is seamlessly integrated into the fine-grained texture, ending with a mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2025.
