Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Domaine Perrot-Minot 2007

Tasting Notes

A highly complex nose featuring a bright and gorgeously layered mix of spicy red, black and violet aromas trimmed in barely discernable toast highlights very rich, textured, naturally sweet and full-bodied flavors underpinned by superb dry extract levels on the tight, solidly tannic and explosive finish. Despite the firm structural spine, the overall impression is a Bèze of elegance yet also one that is entirely serious. Patience will also be required.
