Gevrey Chambertin Les Cherbaudes, Domaine Fourrier 2005

Tasting Notes

A distinctly earthy and reserved but not inelegant red pinot fruit nose infused with hints of wet stone, game and underbrush introduces rich, full and relatively fine yet powerful flavors that culminate in a long and delicious finish where the minerality resurfaces. Terrific quality and recommended. Drink: 2015+ Note: a well placed 1er that abuts Chapelle on its northern border. Outstanding
