Tasting Notes

Aromas of green olive, blackberry and bark lead to a full body, with ripe tannins and an outstanding core of fruit. Long and chewy, but balanced. Best after 2012. 3,415 cases made.

James Suckling, Wine Spectator, March 2009

From the Jean-Pierre Moueix stable.

Known as Ch Bourgneuf-Vayron on the French market. Bright crimson. Thick and sweet on the nose. Not especially fragrant - chunky and solid and with slightly underripe tannins. A certain green streak. Bit dull.2011 - 2017
