Tasting Notes

An overtly spicy and ripe nose consists of both red and dark currant aromas that exhibit subtle nuances of earth, game and a hint of smoke. There is fine richness to the relatively robust yet supple medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the beautifully refined finish where a discreet but not invisible hint of warmth appears. This is not what I would describe as dense yet there is excellent balance and persistence as well as enough structure to suggest that this is going to need the better part of another decade to arrive at its peak. Try from 2024+
