Chambolle Musigny Les Fuées, Domaine Faiveley 2010

Tasting Notes

Here the nose is more deeply pitched compared to that of the La Combe d'Orveau with ripe yet cool red berry liqueur, earth and wet stone aromas. There is outstanding delineation to the more powerful, intense and mineral-inflected flavors where the firm but ripe tannins are almost completely buffered by the copious dry extract that really coats the palate on the balanced and strikingly persistent finish. I very much like this.
