Rivesaltes, Château Mossé 1932

Tasting Notes

The 1932 Rivesaltes has a more understated bouquet when compared with the 1935. But it is just as enchanting with Manuka honey and quince, hints of resin, a little kerosene - quite mercurial in the glass. The palate is smooth and very harmonious: just a dash of white pepper on the entry, accompanied by nutmeg, cloves, dried fig and orange zest. It feels very long in the mouth and builds in subtle fashion towards a confident and satisfying finish. Excellent.
