Morey Saint Denis Faconnieres, Lignier-Michelot 2008

This is perhaps more obviously '08 in style with a hint of the herbal influence on the otherwise pure, elegant and quite classy nose of red and blue pinot fruit that merges into supple and round medium weight flavors that possess good extract that buffers the linear and lingering finish. This is a bit less austere than the Chenevery but overall, it's cut from the same cloth. Note: from 60+ year old vines Drink: 2018+
