Lively lime-blossom nose and great delicacy on the palate. Great purity. Delicious.
Awesome aromas of red fruits, always a positive characteristic in wines from this varietal, can be found in the nose of the medium-bodied 2001 Riesling Auslese Kiedrich Grafenberg. Jammy, baked cherries and apricots make up this stunner's character. Armed with the depth and concentration generally associated with Beerenausleses, it is a fat, plump, thickly-textured monster of a Riesling. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2025+.
