A distinctly earthy nose of red currants, iron and a hint of the sauvage that is also reflected by the rich and full-bodied yet supple flavors that are underpinned by relatively sophisticated tannins on the very firm and serious finish that is moderately austere at present. Patience will be required as this tremendous effort is very solidly structured. Drink 2025+
