Tasting Notes

Here too the sulfur is so strong that not much can be garnered from the nose. On the palate the seductively textured flavors are not quite as concentrated as those of the Champs Canet but they're even more complex with really lovely purity of expression. There is excellent volume to the explosive, intense and driving finish that is unusually dry, balanced and long. Like its stable mate, this is exceptionally classy and my predicted range obviously assumes that the sulfur will be integrated successfully in time but in this case that should not be a significant risk as this clearly has the material to do so, not to mention very much needing extended cellaring.
