Tasting Notes

**Note: from a full 1 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines aged in approximately 1/3 new oak with a slightly longer élevage than the prior wines**
There is a hint of the exotic to the otherwise more typical aromas of dried yellow orchard fruits that include apricot, peach and mango. The textured, intense and mouth coating flavors are concentrated, serious and beautifully well-balanced on the superbly long finish. This is a very classy wine and if not the most complex among these Puligny 1ers, then perhaps the most refined.
