Tasting Notes

**Note: from a parcel in the sub-climat En la Richarde plus another in Folatières proper toward Champ Gain at the very top of the vineyard; vine age is 30+ years and it was aged in 1/3 new oak**
A beautifully complex nose features hints of pear, white peach, acacia blossom and mineral reduction. The mineral character also completely informs the chiseled, intense and tension-filled flavors that culminate in a citrusy, austere, bone dry and saline finish. This is terrific and absolutely textbook Folatières.
