Tasting Notes

**Note: 25+ year old vines aged in 25% new wood**
The relatively strong mineral reduction does an excellent imitation of a classic Chablis though there are background notes of white orchard fruit and no salt water nuances. There is excellent detail and richness to the precise and vibrant flavors that possess impeccably good balance on the bone dry finish where a saline note arises that is again reminiscent of a fine Chablis. There is a good reason that Garenne is known as the Chablis of Puligny and 2010 demonstrates it well.
